Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Teamcenter Developer with 5\+ years of hands\-on experience in Teamcenter customization, configuration, and upgrade activities. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Teamcenter ITK, BMIDE, SOA/REST services, C/C\+\+/Java, Active Workspace customization, and workflow development.

The candidate will be responsible for assessing existing Teamcenter customizations, identifying compatibility issues, and upgrading and remediating custom developments to ensure compatibility with Teamcenter 2606\.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess existing Teamcenter customizations for compatibility with Teamcenter 2606\.
• Identify deprecated or modified APIs, libraries, handlers, and extension points.
• Upgrade, remediate, and rebuild ITK, SOA/REST, server\-side, client\-side, and Active Workspace customizations.
• Upgrade and deploy BMIDE templates, custom business objects, properties, relations, LOVs, rules, and extensions while maintaining existing business functionality.
• Review and remediate custom workflow handlers, action/rule handlers, utilities, batch jobs, and integrations impacted by the Teamcenter upgrade.
• Review and ensure custom code is Unicode/UTF\-8 ready, including string handling, XML/file processing, and multilingual/Japanese character handling following Oracle AL32UTF8 conversion.
• Assess and remediate customizations impacting Multi\-Site, Store\-and\-Forward, data transfer, FMS, and integration processing.
• Ensure Unicode\-safe data exchange between Teamcenter sites.
• Perform unit testing, defect remediation, and support SIT/UAT for Teamcenter customizations and integrations.
• Analyze application logs, stack traces, and upgrade\-related technical issues.
• Support production deployment, configuration promotion, and cutover/rollback activities.
• Maintain technical documentation and source\-code baseline management.
• Provide post\-deployment hypercare and defect resolution support.

Required Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5\+ years of experience in Teamcenter development and customization.
• Hands\-on experience with Teamcenter ITK and BMIDE.
• Strong understanding of Teamcenter architecture, customization, and extension mechanisms.
• Experience upgrading and remediating Teamcenter customizations for newer versions.
• Knowledge of Unicode/UTF\-8 compatibility and multilingual data handling.
• Experience working with Teamcenter integrations, workflows, and custom utilities.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and support testing and deployment activities.
• Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and communication skills.
