Technical Delivery Head

• *ROLE OVERVIEW:**

The Head of Technical Delivery – India will be the senior\-most technical delivery authority at Tech Transient, responsible for the overall delivery strategy, architecture, engineering execution, and technical team leadership across Tech Transient’s projects and internal platforms. This is a hands\-on leadership role that blends strategic delivery direction with active involvement in architecture decisions, code quality, and delivery oversight. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable setting technical direction, mentoring engineers, and getting into the details when needed.

• *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** –

Own the overall technology strategy, architecture, and engineering roadmap for Tech Transient, aligned with business and client goals.

– Lead, mentor, and grow the engineering team, including hiring, performance management, and technical career development.

– Drive technical decision\-making across AI/ML, web, mobile, and backend engineering projects, ensuring scalable and maintainable architecture.

– Oversee end\-to\-end project delivery quality across client engagements, balancing timelines, technical debt, and longterm platform health.

– Establish and enforce engineering best practices — code review standards, CI/CD, testing, documentation, and security protocols.

– Evaluate, select, and implement technology stacks, tools, and third\-party platforms suited to client and internal needs.

– Act as the primary technical point of contact for key clients, translating business requirements into robust technical solutions.

– Manage technology infrastructure, cloud environments, and data security/compliance practices (including DPDP Act and related regulations).

– Collaborate closely with leadership on budgeting, resourcing, and technology investment decisions.

– Stay current with emerging AI/ML and digital transformation trends, and drive their responsible adoption within Tech Transient’s offerings.

– Set up and continuously improve internal engineering processes, tooling, and knowledge\-sharing practices as the team scales.

• *REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS \& EXPERIENCE:**

–Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

– 10\+ years of overall software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a technical leadership, architecture, or engineering management role.

– Proven track record of leading engineering teams and delivering complex, production\-grade software systems.

– Strong hands\-on experience across modern web/mobile technology stacks, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and DevOps practices.

– Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts and their practical application in enterprise or consulting settings is highly preferred.

– Experience managing multiple concurrent projects or client engagements in a consulting or product environment.

– Strong understanding of system design, scalability, security, and data privacy best practices. – Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical teams and business stakeholders/clients.

PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES

– Prior experience in an IT consulting, digital transformation, or AI services company.

– Experience building or scaling an engineering function from an early stage.

– Familiarity with Indian regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to technology and data (DPDP Act 2023, IT Act 2000\).

– A pragmatic, ownership\-driven mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands\-on execution.
