Technical Lead

• *Technical Lead – AI \& Product Engineering**

• *About the Role**

We build AI products for businesses. We need a Technical Lead who can own the tech, work with product, develop SLMs, and get AI\-powered products shipped.

You’ll work across AI, backend, web, and mobile. You’ll design the system, write and review code, guide the team, talk to stakeholders, and turn loose ideas into working products. If you have shipped an LLM feature to real users, that matters more than fancy words on a resume.

• *Key Responsibilities**

· Own the system design across AI, backend, web, and mobile.

· Build AI features using LLMs, RAG, agents, NLP, OCR, and document processing.

· Turn business needs into quick POCs, then production systems.

· Develop, fine\-tune, and integrate small language models (SLMs) into products that use them in production workflows.

· Lead the team, review code, set basic engineering standards, and keep quality high.

· Plan the work, estimate effort, write the needed docs, and deliver on time.

· Work with clients and business teams to turn product goals into working software.

· Debug and solve hard, ambiguous technical problems that cut across AI, distributed systems, mobile performance, and API design.

· Help junior developers and interns grow by giving them real work.

• *Required Skills**

• *AI/ML:** Generative AI, LLMs, SLM development, fine\-tuning, model evaluation, Prompt Engineering, RAG, AI Agents, LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, OpenAI APIs, Hugging Face, Vector Databases, NLP, OCR, Document Intelligence

• *Backend:** Python (FastAPI/Django), Node.js (Express/NestJS), REST APIs, GraphQL, Authentication, Microservices

• *Full Stack:** React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, MERN Stack

• *Mobile:** React Native, Android, iOS, mobile architecture and performance optimization

• *Databases:** MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis (Elasticsearch a plus)

• *DevOps/Cloud:** Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD, AWS/Azure/GCP

• *Engineering Basics:** System design, distributed systems, event\-driven systems, scaling, performance, secure APIs

• *Preferred Qualifications**

· Worked at a product company or startup and owned real product work.

· Shipped at least one AI feature or product used by real users.

· Led or mentored at least 3 engineers.

· Can work directly with founders, clients, and business teams.

· Open\-source work, blogs, or talks are a plus.
