- *Position Title:** Senior Data Consultant **Program:** Enterprise Digital Transformation — S/4HANA Implementation **Location:** Hybrid / Remote **Duration:** 12–18 months (with extension based on rollout timeline) **Reports To:** Data Architect/Senior Data Architect
- *1\. Role Context**

We are seeking an experienced SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS) Consultant with 8\-10 years to support a large\-scale S/4HANA digital transformation program. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and execution of data migration and integration workstreams, ensuring high\-quality data is available across source and target SAP environments.
Working closely with the Data Architect and cross\-functional program teams, this role is critical to delivering accurate, complete, and timely data migration aligned to go\-live milestones.
- *2\. Key Responsibilities**

- *Data Migration Design \& Execution**
- Design and develop SAP BODS data flows, workflows, and data stores for migration of master and transactional data to SAP S/4HANA.
- Execute data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes across legacy source systems.
- Build and maintain reusable BODS objects, scripts, and repositories following program standards.
- Conduct unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) support for migration objects.
- *Data Quality \& Governance**
- Perform data profiling and analysis of source systems to identify data quality issues prior to migration.
- Collaborate with business data owners to define data cleansing rules and transformation logic.
- Develop and maintain data quality dashboards and exception reporting within BODS.
- Apply data governance standards throughout migration lifecycle in alignment with program policies.
- *Integration \& Technical Architecture**
- Design and implement data integration pipelines between SAP S/4HANA and third\-party or legacy systems.
- Configure and maintain SAP Data Services Management Console, repositories, and job server environments.
- Support integration with SAP Information Steward for data profiling and data lineage tracking.
- Liaise with the technical and basis teams on system landscape, transport management, and performance tuning.
- *Programme Collaboration**
- Work within an Agile / structured program delivery framework, contributing to sprint planning and sprint reviews.
- Prepare technical specifications, migration approach documents, and data mapping artefacts.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior data analysts and migration team members.
- Coordinate with SAP functional consultants (FI, CO, MM, SD, PP) to align data migration with configuration design.

5\. To gather specifications and deliver solutions to the client organization based on understanding of a domain or technology
6\. To review project deliverables.
7\. To recommend client value creation initiatives and implement industry best practices (on specific technology/product)
