As a Technology Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and setting up both production and non\-production cloud environments tailored to project or product needs. This role includes deploying automation pipelines to streamline the creation and configuration of these environments, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency. The position requires continuous collaboration with various teams to maintain and enhance the platform's stability and performance, while proactively addressing any challenges that arise during environment deployment and management.

Key Responsibilities
Storage and Backup administrative tasks \-Regular Health checks, Troubleshooting, Lun creation and extension, Clean up tasks, Backup error troubleshooting
Responsible for ensuring availability and improvement of performance of the Storage and Backup devices and maintenance of SLA using best practices.
To proactively monitor the storage systems to ensure storage accessibility and zero data loss.
Proactive incident and change Management.
Generate storage reports as per requirement
Analyze the activities assigned as required by the business.
Technical Experience
Manage, configure, and optimize Dell EMC Power\-Max storage arrays including VMFS, vSAN, and storage provisioning.
Configure and manage masking views, zoning, and LUN provisioning.
Perform storage expansion, refresh activities, and SRDF\-based replication.
Monitor storage performance, capacity planning, and health status.
Implement and manage SRDF replication for disaster recovery.
Create and restore snapshots, clones, and backups.
Execute failover, failback, and DR testing procedures.
Work closely with backup team to integrate storage solutions with backup policies.
Investigate and resolve storage performance issues.
Troubleshoot hardware failures, disk replacements, and RAID\-level configurations.
Perform LUN cleanup, disk failure analysis, and recoverability testing.
Collaborate with server, network, and security teams to ensure seamless storage integration.
7\+ years of experience in enterprise storage administration.
Hands\-on experience with Dell EMC PowerMax, Unisphere for PowerMax, and Symmetrix CLI (SYMCLI).
Strong understanding of VMware vSphere storage (VMFS, NFS, vSAN, vVols).
Knowledge of SRDF, SnapVX, TimeFinder, and replication technologies.
Experience with zoning on Cisco/Brocade SAN switches.
Proficiency in RAID levels, storage tiering, and capacity management.
Familiarity with backup solutions like Rubrik or Commvault.
Scripting knowledge for automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
Experience working with Linux and Windows\-based storage clients.
Excellent problem\-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
