Job Description
- *ABOUT THE ROLE**
Doon Decors \& Exhibits is seeking a results\-driven Business Growth \& Tender Manager to lead the identification, pursuit, and conversion of high\-value business opportunities — including government, corporate, and institutional tenders for exhibitions, events, and décor projects. The role combines strategic business development with hands\-on tender filing, proposal building, and client presentation, and requires close coordination with Design, Production, and Accounts to convert opportunities into successfully delivered projects.
- *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- *Business Growth \& Lead Generation**
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, government, and institutional segments for exhibitions, events, and interior/décor projects.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads through market research, networking, and relationship\-building with prospective clients and government bodies.
- Drive revenue growth by converting leads into confirmed projects, in coordination with the CRM/Client Servicing team.
- *Tender Management**
- Track and identify relevant government, PSU, and corporate tenders/EOIs (GeM, e\-procurement portals, and direct client RFPs).
- Manage the complete tender lifecycle — from Expression of Interest to final submission — ensuring 100% technical and documentary compliance.
- Prepare tender documentation including technical bids, financial bids, company credentials, past performance records, and statutory compliance papers.
- Coordinate with Accounts and Design/Production teams to compile costings, layouts, and supporting technical content for submissions.
- Maintain a tracker of tender status, submission deadlines, and outcomes; follow up on results and pre\-bid queries.
- *Presentation \& Client Pitching**
- Develop compelling PPT decks and proposals for client pitches, tender presentations, and pre\-bid meetings.
- Represent the company in client meetings, pre\-bid conferences, and negotiations with a professional and persuasive presentation style.
- Translate design and production capabilities into clear, client\-facing proposals tailored to each opportunity.
- *Coordination \& Process**
- Liaise closely with Design, Production, and Accounts teams to ensure feasibility, costing accuracy, and timely handover of won projects.
- Support contract drafting, terms negotiation, and documentation for finalized deals.
- Maintain organized records of all business development activity, tenders filed, and client communication.
- *QUALIFICATIONS**
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Operations, or Business Administration preferred.
- 3–8 years of relevant experience in business development, tender management, or government/institutional contracting.
- Prior exposure to the exhibitions, events, hospitality, or manufacturing sectors will be an advantage.
- Demonstrated track record of securing tenders or high\-value contracts.
- *SKILLS \& ABILITIES**
- Strong understanding of the tender lifecycle, technical/financial bid preparation, and compliance documentation.
- Excellent PowerPoint and proposal\-building skills; ability to create persuasive, client\-ready presentations.
- Strong negotiation, contract, and vendor/client relationship management skills.
- Confident communicator in both Hindi and English, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and government officials.
- Process\-oriented with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with government e\-procurement portals (e.g. GeM) preferred.
- Self\-driven, target\-oriented, and comfortable working cross\-functionally with Design, Production, and Accounts teams.
