We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially focused Tender Manager / Estimation Head to lead the complete tendering, estimation, and bid management process for Interior Fit\-Out and Turnkey Projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing techno\-commercial bids, developing winning pricing strategies, and ensuring timely submission of competitive proposals.
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Interior Fit\-Out, Civil, MEP, and FF\&E costing along with extensive experience in handling large\-scale commercial, corporate, retail, healthcare, and hospitality interior projects.
- *Tendering \& Bid Management**
- Manage the complete tender lifecycle from Bid/No\-Bid Decision to final award.
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract requirements.
- Prepare and submit Tender Filings, EOI (Expression of Interest), PQ/PQQ (Pre\-Qualification) documents, and Techno\-Commercial Bids.
- Handle E\-Tendering, E\-Auctions, Reverse Auctions, GeM Portal, CPP Portal, and Client Bidding Portals.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for timely Bid Submission and compliance documentation.
- Analyze tender risks, exclusions, qualifications, and commercial exposure.
- Maintain tender trackers and bid status reports.
- Prepare detailed BOQ Preparation and Quantity Surveying reports.
- Perform Cost Estimation, Rate Analysis, Item Rate Analysis, and Non\-Tender (NT) Item Costing.
- Develop Trade\-wise Cost Breakups covering Civil, Interior, MEP, Furniture, Fixtures \& Equipment (FF\&E), and specialized works.
- Conduct Material Rate Benchmarking and cost database management.
- Prepare project budgets and cost plans based on project scope and specifications.
- Execute Scope Gap Analysis and identify cost optimization opportunities.
- Implement Value Engineering solutions without compromising quality and functionality.
- *Commercial \& Negotiation**
- Develop Competitive Pricing Strategies to maximize bid success rates.
- Conduct Margin Analysis and Cost\-to\-Win Estimation.
- Manage Quote Revision Processes during bid clarification and negotiation stages.
- Participate in Commercial Negotiations and Client\-facing Bid Discussions.
- Prepare Variation Order Costing and Change Order Evaluations.
- Review Escalation Clauses, payment terms, retention clauses, and contractual risks.
- Support senior management during commercial presentations and final negotiations.
- *Coordination \& Collaboration**
- Coordinate closely with Architects, Interior Designers, Procurement Teams, MEP Teams, and Project Managers.
- Ensure Design\-to\-Cost Alignment throughout the tendering process.
- Lead Cross\-functional Bid Team Management activities.
- Conduct Site Surveys and collect Site Survey Inputs for accurate costing.
- Manage Vendor Rate Procurement and subcontractor quotation evaluations.
- Review and finalize Subcontractor Scope Pricing and commercial comparisons.
- Collaborate with design teams for specification optimization and value engineering.
- *Technical \& Domain Expertise**
- Prepare technical specifications and specification writing documentation.
- Evaluate Design \& Build Contracts and commercial obligations.
- Analyze Lump Sum Contracts versus Item Rate Contracts.
- Utilize CPWD/DSR Rate References for benchmarking and validation.
