• *Role Summary**

We are looking for a Tender Manager to lead our end\-to\-end tendering process: identifying opportunities, preparing and submitting competitive bids, and following through to award. The ideal candidate has hands\-on expertise with the GeM portal and other government and PSU e\-procurement portals, and a strong grasp of commercial and technical bid documentation.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Identify and track relevant tenders on GeM, CPPP, state e\-procurement portals, and PSU/private client portals (e.g., NTPC, GSECL, GETCO, IOCL, L\&T, BHEL and similar).
• Study tender documents (NIT, RFP, GCC/SCC, BOQ, technical specifications) and assess eligibility, risks and commercial implications.
• Prepare, review and submit technical and commercial bids within deadlines, in coordination with engineering, projects, finance and legal teams.
• Manage vendor and subcontractor enquiries, and obtain quotations for pricing.
• Prepare cost estimates, price bids and BOQ\-based offers; support the pricing strategy for competitive positioning.
• Handle GeM registration, catalogue management, bid participation, bid\-to\-RA (Reverse Auction) and order acceptance.
• Manage Digital Signature Certificates (DSC), EMD/bid security, performance bank guarantees and tender fee payments.
• Attend pre\-bid meetings, raise queries, and handle clarifications and technical/commercial negotiations.
• Maintain a tender pipeline, MIS and win/loss analysis, and report status to management.
• Keep company credentials current (past experience, financials, certificates, registrations, empanelments) for pre\-qualification.
• Hand over awarded contracts to the project team with complete documentation.

• *Required Qualifications \& Skills**

• Graduate in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil) or Commerce / BBA / MBA. A diploma with strong tendering experience is also acceptable.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in tendering, bidding and proposal management.
• Proven expertise on the GeM portal and other e\-tendering portals (e.g., CPPP, Nextenders, Tender Tiger, state portals, Ariba).
• Good understanding of tender terms, eligibility criteria, and contract and commercial clauses.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PDF tools; strong documentation and costing skills.
• Excellent written communication, attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Preferred

• Experience in EPC / Engineering Services / Industrial projects (power, material handling, coal handling, etc.)
• Familiarity with reverse auctions and L1 pricing strategies.
• Knowledge of GST, MSME benefits, Make in India and local content norms.
