Job Summary

We are looking for a detail\-oriented Tendering \& Costing Executive with experience in commercial interior projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing project cost estimates, analysing BOQs, reviewing tender documents, preparing quotations, and submitting competitive commercial proposals. The role requires coordination with the sales, project, procurement, and operations teams to ensure accurate costing and timely tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities

• *1\. Tender Management**

• Review and analyse tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Prepare and submit tender documents within specified deadlines.
• Understand project requirements, scope of work, technical specifications, and commercial terms.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals.
• Track tender opportunities and maintain a tender submission database.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and project teams for tender\-related clarifications.

• *2\. Costing \& Estimation**

• Prepare detailed project cost estimates for commercial interior projects.
• Analyse BOQs, quantities, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Calculate material, labour, transportation, installation, and other project\-related costs.
• Obtain and compare vendor and supplier quotations.
• Prepare rate analysis and detailed cost breakups.
• Ensure accurate costing and maintain appropriate project margins.
• Identify cost\-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

• *3\. BOQ \& Quantity Analysis**

• Prepare and review Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
• Perform quantity take\-offs from architectural and interior drawings.
• Analyse flooring, ceiling, and other interior product requirements.
• Identify discrepancies in drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Coordinate with technical teams for material specifications and product suitability.

• *4\. Quotation \& Commercial Documentation**

• Prepare quotations, cost sheets, pricing schedules, and commercial proposals.
• Review vendor quotations and negotiate pricing where required.
• Prepare comparative statements and cost analysis reports.
• Ensure all commercial submissions are accurate and properly documented.
• Follow up on submitted quotations and tender results.

• *5\. Internal Coordination**

• Coordinate with sales, procurement, logistics, and project execution teams.
• Obtain material prices and technical details from suppliers.
• Support the sales team with project costing and pricing strategies.
• Maintain records of submitted tenders, quotations, revisions, and project estimates.
• Provide regular updates to management on tender status and costing activities.

Qualifications \& Experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in tendering, estimation, and costing.
• Experience in commercial interior projects, flooring, ceiling systems, or building materials is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, and rate analysis.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
• Experience with tender portals and ERP systems will be an advantage.
