Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3\+ years of relevant experience.

Position Description: We are looking for an experienced Teradata Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Teradata platform engineering, data warehousing, Python development, automation, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing data platforms, automating operational processes, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and supporting infrastructure automation. Exposure to AI\-assisted development tools and modern AI integration frameworks is highly desirable.

• *Your future duties and responsibilities**

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize Teradata platform solutions and data warehouse environments.
• Perform platform administration, monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and capacity optimization.
• Develop Python scripts and automation frameworks to streamline platform operations and repetitive tasks.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment, configuration management, and platform updates.
• Support infrastructure automation, environment provisioning, and configuration management using modern DevOps practices.
• Monitor platform health, resolve production issues, and ensure system availability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with data engineering, infrastructure, application development, and operations teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Implement operational best practices for incident management, root\-cause analysis, change management, and continuous improvement.
• Leverage AI\-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor AI to improve coding productivity and automation efficiency.
• Explore and implement AI integration capabilities using MCP (Model Context Protocol) and related frameworks to streamline engineering workflows.
• Maintain technical documentation, automation scripts, deployment procedures, and platform support guidelines.
• Ensure adherence to security standards, access controls, and enterprise platform governance requirements.

• *Required qualifications to be successful in this role**

Must\-Have Skills

• Strong hands\-on experience in Teradata Platform Engineering and Teradata Data Warehouse technologies.
• Good understanding of Teradata architecture, database concepts, SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Python development, scripting, and automation.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation, configuration management, and platform operations.
• Experience in troubleshooting, monitoring, production support, and root\-cause analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross\-functional teams and support enterprise\-scale data platforms.

4\. Good\-to\-Have Skills

• Hands\-on experience with GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, or similar AI\-assisted development tools.
• Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) and AI integration frameworks for engineering automation.
• Exposure to AI\-driven development workflows, code generation, code reviews, and automated testing.
