Test Automation Engineer (API & End-to-End Automation)

• *Role Overview**

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in **API automation testing** and **end\-to\-end test automation**. The ideal candidate should have hands\-on experience in building scalable automation frameworks using **Java** and **Rest Assured**, with the ability to automate complex business workflows across APIs and web applications. Strong analytical thinking, problem\-solving ability, and communication skills are essential.

• *Key Responsibilities**

● Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for API and end\-to\-end testing.

● Build and execute automated API test suites using Rest Assured, Java Script / Type Script \& Java

● Automate end\-to\-end business scenarios involving APIs and web applications.

● Develop and maintain UI automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver where required.

● Validate functional, regression, integration, and smoke test scenarios.

● Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to identify defects and ensure high\-quality releases.

● Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.

● Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and improve automation coverage and reliability.

● Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to test strategy and quality improvements.

• *Must Have**

● 5\+ years of experience in Test Automation.

● Strong hands\-on experience with **Java**.

● Extensive experience in **API Automation using Rest Assured**.

● Experience designing and automating end\-to\-end test scenarios.

● Hands\-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for web UI automation.

● Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, authentication, request/response validation, and JSON.

● Experience with TestNG or JUnit.

● Knowledge of Git, Maven, SQL, and version control practices.

● Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).

● Strong logical reasoning, analytical aptitude, and debugging skills.

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross\-functional Agile teams.

• *Good to Have**

● Experience with Cucumber (BDD) and Gherkin.

● Exposure to Docker and containerized testing environments.

● Experience with performance or security API testing tools.

● Familiarity with reporting tools such as Allure or Extent Reports.

● Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

● Experience working with microservices\-based applications and event\-driven architectures.

Pay: ₹80,000\.00 \- ₹100,000\.00 per month
