Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

Position Description

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer / Senior QA Engineer with 5–8 years of experience in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should have hands\-on expertise in Selenium, Postman, and Python, along with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance best practices. This role is based at the client's office in Chennai.

• *Your future duties and responsibilities**

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium.
• Perform API testing using Postman.
• Develop automation scripts using Python.
• Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality.
• Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, and technical documentation.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ensure timely delivery of quality releases.
• Support continuous improvement of testing processes and automation coverage.

Must\-Have Skills

• 5–8 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
• Strong hands\-on experience with Selenium Automation.
• Experience in API testing using Postman.
• Good programming/scripting knowledge in Python.
• Experience in test case design, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem\-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to work from the client's office in Chennai.

Good\-to\-Have Skills

• BFSI/Insurance domain experience.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
• Knowledge of performance or security testing tools.
