• *Role Overview:**

The Senior Tester / Test Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing testing activities to ensure the delivery of high\-quality software products. This role involves hands\-on testing, mentoring junior testers, and collaborating with cross\-functional teams to drive quality throughout the development lifecycle.

• *Key Responsibilities:**

• *Test Planning \& Strategy**

• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Define testing scope, objectives, and criteria for success.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies related to testing.

• *Execution \& Automation**

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Lead automation efforts using tools like Selenium, Test Complete.
• Ensure test coverage and traceability to requirements.

• *Team Leadership**

• Guide and mentor junior QA engineers.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct peer reviews and provide constructive feedback.

• *Defect Management**

• Log, track, and manage defects using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and verify fixes.
• Analyze defect trends and recommend process improvements.

• *Collaboration \& Communication**

• Work closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand\-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).

Communicate test results and quality metrics to stakeholders.
