Job Summary

RhythmRx is looking for an experienced **Testing Engineer** to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our software applications and healthcare technology products. The ideal candidate should have hands\-on experience in manual testing, functional testing, regression testing, API testing, and defect management.

The candidate will be responsible for developing test cases, executing test plans, identifying and reporting bugs, and collaborating closely with developers and product teams to deliver reliable, high\-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to understand application functionality and testing needs.
• Develop, review, and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test reports.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end\-to\-end testing.
• Identify, document, track, and report software defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or similar platforms.
• Perform database testing and validate data using SQL queries.
• Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain unaffected.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Participate in requirement discussions, sprint planning, and software release activities.
• Ensure applications meet quality standards before deployment.
• Maintain proper testing documentation and provide regular testing status updates.

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc./M.Sc.).
• 3–5 years of hands\-on experience in software testing.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Practical experience in Manual Testing and Functional Testing.
• Good knowledge of Regression, Integration, and End\-to\-End Testing.
• Experience in preparing test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.
• Hands\-on experience with defect tracking and bug reporting.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem\-solving skills.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Familiarity with Jira, Bugzilla, or similar defect\-tracking tools.
• Basic knowledge of automation testing using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience testing web applications and mobile applications.
• Exposure to healthcare technology, medical software, or real\-time data\-driven applications will be an added advantage.
