ABOUT THE ROLE

We are building and operating the Medical Claims Entity Platform — a

cloud\-native, event\-driven platform that ingests claims from Proclaim,

Facets, and related sources, transforms them into canonical claim

entities, and exposes them to downstream consumers. You will design,

build, and harden services that power claim summary/detail, enrichment,

history, APIs, and data quality across AWS.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

\- Build and enhance Python services for claim ingestion, transformation,

enrichment, and entity posting

\- Model and query MongoDB claim entity documents (summary, detail,

payment, history, provider, rules)

\- Kafka / event\-driven streaming on EKS; PostgreSQL for audit or data

quality

\- Develop and operate workloads on AWS (EKS, messaging, storage,

observability) in a streaming architecture

\- Support multi\-source claim processing (Proclaim / Facets / Power),

including enrichment, validation, and claim history

\- Contribute to source\-to\-Entity field mapping and RDS\-to\-Entity

migration / reconciliation for consumer readiness

\- Improve reliability: logging, metrics, retry/restart patterns, and

data quality or mismatch alerting

\- Partner with consumers (e.g., Digital/Hydra, Payment Integrity,

Databricks) on mappings, contracts, and onboarding

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

\- Python — production services, APIs, data transformation, testing

\- MongoDB — document modeling, queries, performance, Atlas or

equivalent

\- GraphQL — schema design, resolvers, API contracts

\- AWS — hands\-on with cloud\-native services (e.g., EKS/containers,

IAM, CloudWatch, S3, managed messaging)

\- Strong debugging, data mapping, and ownership of production issues

\- Clear communication with technical and business stakeholders

NICE TO HAVE

\- Design and implement GraphQL (and REST) APIs for entity access used by

consumers and orchestration flows

\- Healthcare / medical claims domain (Facets, Proclaim, benefits,

clinical edits, pricing)

\- CI/CD, Splunk or similar observability; Databricks / analytics

extracts

\- Experience with orchestration GraphQL flows, source balancing, or

consumer API onboarding

SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

You ship reliable entity capabilities end\-to\-end — from source claim

events to MongoDB entities and GraphQL/API access — with strong

quality, observability, and support for both Proclaim and Facets

consumers on AWS.
