Job Summary

This role is accountable for driving operational excellence in application packaging and deployment, ensuring the stability and reliability of software environments for complex and large\-scale client projects. The individual oversees end\-to\-end packaging processes, champions continuous improvement, solves technical challenges, and empowers teams to meet client service levels while advancing organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1\. Lead application packaging and deployment initiatives using InstallShield and related tools, ensuring delivery of robust, client\-ready software packages for complex environments.

2\. Drive process optimization in application packaging workflows by leveraging advanced InstallShield features and automation techniques to enhance operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.

3\. Oversee troubleshooting and resolution of high\-impact packaging and deployment incidents, utilizing deep technical knowledge to minimize downtime and meet stringent client SLAs.

4\. Mentor and guide team members in best practices for application packaging, scripting, and software distribution, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.

5\. Engage with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions, aligning InstallShield packaging strategies with organizational and client objectives.

6\. Champion the adoption of innovative packaging methods and tools, promoting continuous improvement and operational excellence across the support and operations function.

Skill Requirements

1\. Advanced Knowledge Of Application Packaging Standards, Msi, Mst, And ScriptBased Automation Techniques.

2\. Solid Experience With Software Distribution Platforms (E.G., Sccm, Intune) And Integration With Installshield Packages.

3\. Excellent Troubleshooting Abilities For Resolving Complex Packaging And Deployment Issues.

4\. Strong Communication And Mentoring Skills To Guide And Empower Team Members.

5\. Advanced Proficiency In Process Improvement And Documentation Within Application Packaging Operations.

Other Requirements

• *1\. Recommended:** Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or equivalent.
