Job Title: Trainee Maintenance Engineer

Job Purpose

To learn and assist in the maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting and repair of textile spinning machinery and associated equipment under the guidance of experienced maintenance personnel, ensuring safe machine operation and minimum production downtime.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist technicians in the maintenance of spinning mill machinery.
• Learn the functioning of Blow Room, Carding, Drawing, Spinning, Autoconer, Winding and other machines installed in the mill.
• Assist in carrying out daily machine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
• Check machine components such as bearings, belts, pulleys, gears, motors and sensors under supervision.
• Assist in identifying abnormal machine sounds, vibration, overheating and other equipment problems.
• Support breakdown maintenance and learn basic troubleshooting techniques.
• Assist in cleaning, lubrication, alignment and adjustment of machinery as instructed.
• Learn the identification and proper use of maintenance tools, measuring instruments and equipment.
• Assist in maintaining preventive maintenance checklists, breakdown reports and service records.
• Help identify required spare parts and coordinate with the Stores Department under the guidance of senior staff.
• Follow safety procedures, wear appropriate PPE and maintain good housekeeping in the maintenance area.
• Coordinate with production personnel during scheduled maintenance activities.
• Participate in technical training and develop knowledge of machine operation, maintenance procedures and safety practices.
• Report equipment abnormalities and unsafe conditions immediately to the concerned supervisor.
• Perform other maintenance\-related duties assigned by the Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Manager.

Pay: ₹15,000\.00 \- ₹17,000\.00 per month
