Travel Consultant

Can you take a client from “We’re thinking of a holiday” to “That was our best trip yet”?

At Travelwise Tours, we create holidays around the people taking them—their interests, their pace and the experiences they will remember. We are looking for a **Senior Travel Consultant who understands the end\-to\-end workings of a travel organisation** and can confidently manage a booking from the first enquiry to the welcome\-home call.

• *What you’ll do**

• Understand clients’ preferences, budgets and expectations, and recommend suitable destinations and experiences.
• Design personalised domestic and international itineraries with clear, accurate quotations.
• Coordinate flights, hotels, transfers, sightseeing, visa assistance and travel insurance.
• Work with suppliers and destination partners to negotiate rates, confirm services and deliver well\-organised holidays.
• Manage booking confirmations, payments, documentation, vouchers and pre\-departure communication.
• Stay connected with clients during their travels and resolve issues calmly and promptly.
• Follow up on enquiries, convert bookings and build lasting client relationships.
• Maintain accurate records and coordinate with operations and accounts.
• Bring fresh ideas for experiential holidays, group departures and destination promotions.
• Guide junior colleagues and take ownership of your bookings.

• *Who we’re looking for**

You have hands\-on experience in travel consulting and can independently handle **sales, itinerary planning, costing, reservations and operational coordination**. You communicate clearly, pay attention to detail and know how to balance a memorable client experience with a commercially sound quotation.

Above all, you are curious about the world, dependable with the details and thoughtful about the people travelling with us.
