Job Description: UI/UX Designer (Figma) – Social Media ApplicationAbout the Role

We are looking for an experienced **UI/UX Designer with strong Figma skills** who has previously designed social media applications or similar interactive digital platforms.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of modern UI/UX principles, user engagement, intuitive navigation, and scalable application design. We are looking for someone who can not only execute designs but also critically evaluate our existing UI and suggest meaningful improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and improve the UI/UX of our social media application using Figma.
• Review our existing interface and identify areas for improvement.
• Propose UI changes that improve usability, user engagement, navigation, and overall visual appeal.
• Create wireframes, user flows, high\-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Design social media features such as user profiles, feeds, posts, comments, likes, messaging, notifications, and other relevant interactions.
• Maintain consistency in design systems, typography, colors, spacing, and components.
• Collaborate with our team to understand product requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.

Required Experience and Skills

• Proven experience designing social media applications or similar community\-based platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Figma, including components, auto layout, prototyping, and design systems.
• A portfolio showcasing real UI/UX projects, preferably social media or other feature\-rich applications.
• Strong understanding of user\-centered design, responsive layouts, and modern UI/UX trends.
• Ability to identify usability issues and provide practical, well\-reasoned design recommendations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

As part of the selection process, candidates must

• **Share proof of relevant experience:** Provide a portfolio, Figma files, prototypes, or live project links demonstrating their work on social media applications or similar products.
• **Present their proposed UI improvements:** Review our existing application UI and submit a brief proposal explaining what they would change, why those changes are needed, and how they would improve the user experience.
• **Explain their design approach:** Describe how they would improve usability, navigation, visual consistency, and user engagement.
• **Show practical design capability:** Be prepared to walk us through a relevant previous project or present a small, focused sample redesign if requested.

We will evaluate candidates based on the quality of their previous work, their understanding of our product, the strength of their UI improvement proposal, and their ability to justify their design decisions.
