Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager with strong knowledge of uPVC doors and windows manufacturing to manage overall production operations and Production Planning \& Control (PPC). The candidate must be capable of leading production engineers and supervisors, planning production schedules, monitoring daily output, managing manpower, and ensuring production targets and delivery timelines are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage overall uPVC doors and windows manufacturing operations.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and delivery schedules.
• Handle PPC activities, production scheduling, order tracking, and work allocation.
• Lead and supervise Production Engineers, Supervisors, and shop\-floor workers.
• Monitor the progress of engineers and supervisors and ensure planned activities are completed on time.
• Track planned versus actual production and take corrective action when targets are missed.
• Coordinate production activities across cutting, welding, fabrication, hardware fitting, assembly, and finishing.
• Ensure the availability of raw materials, components, manpower, and machines to meet production schedules.
• Coordinate with Stores, Purchase, Quality, Sales, and Dispatch teams for smooth operations.
• Identify production bottlenecks, reduce downtime and wastage, and improve productivity.
• Review daily production reports, pending orders, productivity, and manpower utilization.
• Ensure production orders are completed on time while maintaining required quality standards.
• Develop and implement process improvements to improve efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.
• Maintain discipline, safety, and effective communication across the production team.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in uPVC doors and windows manufacturing.
• Excellent knowledge of PPC, production planning, and scheduling.
• Proven ability to manage production teams, engineers, and supervisors.
• Experience monitoring production progress and achieving daily and monthly targets.
• Good knowledge of shop\-floor operations, manpower planning, and resource utilization.
• Ability to identify production delays and implement corrective actions.
• Experience with production reporting, MS Excel, and order tracking.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem\-solving skills.

Educational Qualification

Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 5–10 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Candidates from uPVC doors and windows manufacturing are strongly preferred.
• Candidates from aluminium doors and windows manufacturing may be considered if they have relevant production management and PPC experience.
• Must have hands\-on experience managing both production planning and shop\-floor operations.
• Must be capable of leading engineers and supervisors, assigning responsibilities, and checking their progress.
• Candidates whose experience is mainly Quality Inspection, QA/QC, or documentation without production ownership are not suitable.
