  • *Overview**

Tech team is seeking an experienced consultant to support the evaluation of vendor renewal options for a strategic platform decision. The consultant will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors/suppliers to assess renewal paths, shape the decision framework, and support leadership in selecting the best future\-state option.

  • *Engagement Objective**

Support a structured review of supplier renewal and future platform direction through analysis of commercial, operational, delivery, and strategic considerations.

  • *Scope of Work**

The consultant will be expected to support the following workstreams

  • Option analysis across commercial, operational, and delivery impact
  • Buy\-out assessment , including product and company buy\-out possibilities
  • Alternative vendor analysis , benchmarking viable vendors on capability, risk, cost, and maturity, starting with an RFI
  • Existing supplier negotiation approach, including commercial levers, decision points, BATNA, and dry\-run preparation
  • Future\-state evaluation comparing internal tech products tools – and as well as Build\-Operate\-Transfer (BOT) option
  • *Key Responsibilities**
  • Facilitate working sessions with internal stakeholders, including business, architects, TPMs, and core workstream members
  • Coordinate and synthesize inputs from external vendors/suppliers
  • Build structured comparison frameworks and decision papers
  • Support commercial and strategic discussions with the vendor
  • Assist in preparing materials for SteerCo review and leadership decision\-making
  • *Required Experience**
  • Strong experience in vendor strategy, sourcing, platform renewal, and commercial negotiation
  • Proven ability to work across business and technology stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Prior experience in India health insurance domain is mandatory
  • *Preferred Experience**
  • Exposure to platform transition programs and vendor exit/renewal scenarios
  • Experience with buy\-out models and build/operate/transfer structures
  • Familiarity with India insurance ecosystem, vendors, and operating models
  • *Desired Profile**

A senior consultant or advisor with strong domain knowledge, structured thinking, and the ability to operate as a trusted partner to both business and technology leadership
