Chate's Advertising is looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for editing long\-form podcast videos for YouTube and creating engaging short\-form content for YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of video editing, storytelling, and visual presentation, along with the ability to turn raw footage into high\-quality content that captures audience attention and meets platform requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit long\-form podcast videos for YouTube with a smooth, professional, and engaging flow.
• Create engaging YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and other short\-form videos from podcast footage.
• Add captions, graphics, transitions, background music, sound effects, and visual enhancements as required.
• Improve video and audio quality to ensure a polished final output.
• Design engaging intros, outros, and other visual elements when needed.
• Optimize videos according to the format and requirements of different social media platforms.
• Organize and manage video files, footage, and project assets efficiently.
• Coordinate with the content team to understand project requirements and deliver creative results.
• Complete editing assignments within deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• Keep up with the latest video editing techniques, digital content formats, and social media trends.

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• Experience in editing videos for YouTube, Instagram, or other digital platforms.
• Good understanding of video storytelling, pacing, transitions, and visual composition.
• Creative thinking with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to edit both long\-form videos and short\-form content effectively.
• Good communication and time\-management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• A portfolio or samples of previous editing work will be preferred.
