• *Job Description**

Cyzium Hackers Academy is looking for a creative and detail\-oriented Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging, high\-quality video content for social media, promotional campaigns, educational content, and brand storytelling.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of video editing, storytelling, pacing, colour grading, sound design, and current social media trends. You will work closely with our team to create compelling content for Instagram Reels, YouTube videos, advertisements, and other digital platforms.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Edit short\-form videos, Instagram Reels, YouTube videos, promotional videos, and advertisements.
• Perform video trimming, sequencing, transitions, colour correction, and colour grading.
• Add sound effects, background music, subtitles, motion graphics, and visual effects where required.
• Create engaging content with strong hooks, smooth pacing, and effective storytelling.
• Edit raw footage from videography and content production sessions.
• Optimise videos for different social media platforms and aspect ratios.
• Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to understand content requirements.
• Maintain consistent video quality and meet project deadlines.
• Stay updated with current video editing techniques, social media trends, and AI\-powered creative tools.

• *Requirements**

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent video editing software.
• Basic knowledge of colour grading, audio editing, transitions, and video storytelling.
• Understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media formats.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to follow creative briefs.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• A portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous editing work.

• *Preferred Skills**

• Experience with Adobe Premier pro, Adobe After Effects, Capcut etc.
• Knowledge of motion graphics, visual effects, and sound design.
• Familiarity with AI\-powered video editing and content creation tools.
• Basic understanding of videography and camera footage workflows.
