Video Editor Intern

Grey Hawks Media is looking for a creative and trend\-savvy **Video Editor Intern** who enjoys creating engaging short\-form videos for social media. If you love Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, trending audio, and creative storytelling, this is an opportunity to learn, experiment, and develop your editing skills while working on real client projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short\-form videos, primarily Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media clips.
• Add captions, text overlays, transitions, sound effects, and background music to enhance engagement.
• Stay updated with current Instagram trends, trending transitions, viral memes, audio, and creator styles, and incorporate them creatively into content.
• Bring fresh ideas and creative freedom to video edits, understanding what works on Instagram and what captures audience attention.
• Collaborate with the creative and content teams to bring concepts to life.
• Follow brand guidelines and maintain consistency across client projects.
• Incorporate feedback and deliver quality edits within agreed timelines.

Requirements \& Qualifications

• Freshers and students with a strong interest in video editing are welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.
• A strong understanding of Instagram, social media culture, current trends, and audience engagement.
• A creative mindset with the ability to identify trending transitions, memes, audio, and formats and use them effectively.
• A creative eye for pacing, typography, transitions, music, and visual storytelling.
• Willingness to experiment, bring original ideas, and adapt to different brand styles.
• Ability to manage deadlines, accept feedback, and work collaboratively.
• A portfolio, personal edits, or sample projects will be an advantage, but professional experience is not required.
