Job Overview

Are you a creative Video Editor passionate about reels, short\-form videos and digital content?

IIFT Bhopal is looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team and create engaging video content for our social media platforms.

This is a great opportunity for talented Video Editors who want to expand their skills and gradually grow into a Social Media Manager role.

The primary focus will be video editing and content creation. You will also get an opportunity to learn and manage social media activities, with guidance and support from our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other short\-form videos.
• Create promotional videos, institute\-related content, event videos and engaging social media content.
• Transform raw footage into attractive and professionally edited videos.
• Add transitions, effects, subtitles, text animations, background music and sound effects.
• Use creative editing styles and trending formats to make content more engaging.
• Shoot videos using a mobile phone or camera whenever required.
• Work on video concepts and creative ideas for social media campaigns.
• Assist in creating and publishing content across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and other platforms.
• Gradually take responsibility for social media content planning, scheduling and page management with proper guidance.
• Coordinate with the team to maintain consistent and engaging digital content.

Required Skills

• Strong practical knowledge of video editing.
• Experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar editing software.
• Good understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and short\-form video trends.
• Knowledge of transitions, effects, subtitles, audio synchronization and basic color correction.
• Creative thinking and good visual storytelling skills.
• Basic knowledge of Canva is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn social media management, content planning and publishing.
• Ability to manage work independently and meet deadlines.

Who Can Apply?

• Candidates with strong editing skills and an impressive portfolio may also be considered.
• Bhopal\-based candidates are preferred, as this is a full\-time, office\-based opportunity.
