• *About the Role*** We are looking for a creative, detail\-oriented individual who can transform raw footage and creative assets into polished, engaging video content for digital platforms.
• The role involves editing long\-form and short\-form videos, creating supporting graphics, maintaining visual consistency, and preparing content for publication.
• The candidate will also have opportunities to contribute to visual design and UI/UX prototyping, supporting the development of digital experiences in collaboration with designers and developers.
• *Key Responsibilities** **Video Editing \& Production**

• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos for YouTube, social media, websites, presentations and other digital platforms.
• Work with both long\-form and short\-form content, including footage recorded using mobile phones, cameras or other recording equipment.
• Review raw footage and identify relevant sections, removing unnecessary pauses, mistakes, repetition and unwanted segments while preserving the intended message and narrative.
• Improve pacing, continuity and storytelling through clean cuts, appropriate transitions and visual enhancements.
• Add titles, opening and closing sequences, captions, subtitles, text overlays, animations and other graphical elements.
• Apply consistent typography, colours, visual styling and branding across videos.
• Improve audio quality where possible, including reducing background noise, balancing voice levels and adding suitable background music or sound effects.
• Create video assets for marketing campaigns, product explainers, demonstrations, promotional content, educational material and organisational initiatives.
• Create supporting assets such as thumbnails, title cards, intro and outro sequences, and short promotional clips.
• Compress and optimise large video files while maintaining acceptable visual and audio quality.
• Export videos in appropriate formats, resolutions and aspect ratios for their intended platforms.
• Organise raw footage, project files, exported videos and supporting assets systematically.

• *Visual Design \& Digital Content**

• Use Canva to create thumbnails, title cards, graphics, presentations and other digital content.
• Develop reusable templates for video intros, outros, lower thirds, captions and other recurring visual elements.
• Maintain consistency in typography, colour palettes, layouts and brand identity.
• Translate creative briefs and reference materials into visually appealing content.
• Suggest improvements to visual storytelling, composition and audience engagement.
• Adapt existing designs and assets for different platforms and formats.

• *UI/UX Design \& Prototyping Support**

• Assist the UI/UX team in creating wireframes, screen layouts and low\- to medium\-fidelity prototypes.
• Use Figma or similar tools to develop basic interactive prototypes and visual mock\-ups.
• Help maintain consistency with established design guidelines, components, spacing, typography and colours.
• Collaborate with developers to review implemented screens and identify visual inconsistencies or usability issues.
• Support the preparation and refinement of design assets and interface elements based on feedback from the UI/UX designer.
• Gradually develop proficiency in UI/UX design, prototyping and design systems.
• *Required Qualifications*** Demonstrable video editing skills through a portfolio or sample projects.
• Working knowledge of Canva and at least one video editing tool, such as Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Understanding of video trimming, transitions, typography, text overlays, audio balancing and export settings.
• Ability to work with large video files and manage storage, compression and project organisation.
• A good eye for visual composition, typography, colour, pacing and detail.
• Basic familiarity with Figma or a willingness to learn UI/UX design and prototyping.
• Ability to follow creative briefs, incorporate feedback and maintain consistent output quality.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
