You'll join the multimedia team within McKinsey’s Reach \& Engagement function, which produces the firm's podcasts and videos.

You'll be part of the video team, reporting to its lead video producer and working alongside a video coordinator, podcast producers, and designers. You'll collaborate with editors and subject\-matter experts, including senior McKinsey partners and executives at leading organizations, as well as colleagues who manage the firm's YouTube and social channels.

You will produce videos from first idea to final cut. You will work with McKinsey authors and experts to identify topics that matter to a global business audience. You'll take an active part in pitch meetings, conduct research, and develop storylines and scripts. You will prepare hosts and interviewees with questions and talking points and run studio and remote recording sessions.

You will edit long\-form videos and video podcasts, and cut Shorts, clips, and vertical formats for various social media and marketing platforms. You'll add graphics, captions, and motion elements as needed, and work with designers on thumbnails and other visuals. You will deliver finished assets to the channel team, along with the context they need to package and publish them well.

You will make sure every video meets the firm's editorial style and its risk and reputation guidelines. You'll work with stakeholders to resolve changes and manage approvals, and you'll juggle multiple projects at once so each one ships on deadline. You'll stay current on business news and the firm's research so content reflects the public conversation. You will also review performance data with analytics colleagues to improve formats over time.

You will use generative AI (gen AI) tools to speed up production, such as for transcription, logging footage, rough cuts, and captioning. You'll also help the team test new tools and workflows.

• *YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 7\+ years of experience producing video across all stages, including ideation, scripting, recording, editing, and delivery, preferably for an English\-language business publication, media organization, or professional\-services firm
• Advanced video\-editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, with working knowledge of After Effects and other Adobe Creative Cloud tools
• Experience running studio and remote recording sessions, including camera, lighting, and audio setup
• Experience creating short\-form and vertical video and using platform analytics to refine formats
• Ability to develop storylines, scripts, and talking points, and to prepare hosts and interviewees for recordings
• Strong editorial judgment and business literacy, with the ability to absorb complex ideas and make them accessible to a global audience
• Confidence working with senior executives and subject\-matter experts, and the ability to build consensus across multiple stakeholders
• Familiarity with gen AI tools for video production, such as transcription, editing, or captioning tools
• Strong problem\-solving and project\-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet short\- and long\-term deadlines
• Ability to work independently in a low\-structure environment and as part of a collaborative team
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English required; proficiency in additional languages are a plus
