About the Role

SDBI is seeking a Visiting Faculty member for **Data Visualization using Power BI** to teach undergraduate students enrolled in the B.Sc. Data Science program.

The teaching approach should be highly practical, with a focus on hands\-on Power BI development, real\-world datasets, dashboard design, and business analytics applications.

Key Responsibilities \- Teaching \& Delivery

• Deliver engaging classroom sessions and practical workshops using Microsoft Power BI.
• Conduct hands\-on demonstrations using real\-world datasets.
• Explain visualization principles, dashboard design, and business reporting concepts.
• Introduce students to industry best practices in business intelligence and analytics.
• Use case studies and business scenarios to demonstrate data\-driven decision making.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Relevant Microsoft Power BI certifications preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Experience Requirements

• 3\+ years of industry experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting, or Data Visualization.
• Prior teaching, training, mentoring, or corporate learning experience.
• Experience delivering Power BI projects in industry environments.

Teaching Commitment

• **Total Course Duration:** 60 Hours
• **Mode:** On\-campus teaching in Mumbai (Patkar Varde College, Goregaon West)
• **Weekly Teaching Load:** Approximately 4–6 hours
• Faculty will be required to prepare assignments, case studies, practical exercises, and project evaluations.
