About the Role

We are looking for an experienced **VMC Section Incharge** to lead our VMC machining operations in a precision mould and die manufacturing environment. The candidate should have strong expertise in **3\-Axis and 5\-Axis machining**, **DMG MORI VMC machines**, **Siemens controllers**, and **NX/SolidCAM programming**. The role involves managing production, programming, process optimization, quality, and leading a team of operators and programmers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complete VMC machining operations for moulds, dies, precision components, and tooling.
• Plan and supervise production on **DMG MORI 3\-Axis \& 5\-Axis VMC machines**.
• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using **Siemens NX CAM** and **SolidCAM**.
• Set up and optimize machining parameters for maximum productivity and tool life.
• Handle machine setup, prove\-out, first\-piece approval, and process validation.
• Manage production planning to achieve daily and monthly targets.
• Coordinate with the Design, EDM, Quality, and Assembly departments for smooth workflow.
• Select suitable cutting tools, fixtures, and machining strategies.
• Troubleshoot machining, programming, tooling, and machine\-related issues.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per engineering drawings.
• Reduce cycle time while maintaining product quality.
• Maintain machine utilization, OEE, and production efficiency.
• Train and mentor VMC operators and programmers.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and proper upkeep of machines.
• Implement 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of **3\-Axis \& 5\-Axis CNC machining**.
• Hands\-on experience with **DMG MORI VMC machines**.
• Proficiency in **Siemens Controller** programming and operation.
• Expertise in **NX CAM** and **SolidCAM** programming.
• Ability to read complex engineering drawings and GD\&T.
• Knowledge of high\-speed machining (HSM) for mould and die manufacturing.
• Experience in electrode machining, cavity machining, and core machining.
• Good understanding of cutting tools, tool holders, and workholding systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and leadership skills.

Qualification

• Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• ITI with extensive relevant experience may also be considered.

Experience

• **8–15 years** in Precision Tool Room / Mould \& Die Manufacturing.
• Minimum **3 years** of experience in a supervisory or section incharge role.
