• *Job Summary**

We are seeking a Remote VoIP Engineer with hands\-on experience in Asterisk PBX to manage and optimize cloud\-based voice infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SIP, Linux administration, VoIP troubleshooting, and excellent English communication skills to support global clients remotely.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Configure, maintain, and optimize Asterisk PBX servers in cloud environments.
• Design and modify dial plans, IVR menus, and call routing.
• Troubleshoot SIP trunking, RTP, audio, and connectivity issues using sngrep and Wireshark.
• Provide Tier\-2/3 technical support for VoIP services.
• Document call flows, network configurations, and technical procedures.

• *Required Skills**

• 2–3 years of hands\-on experience with Asterisk PBX.
• Strong knowledge of SIP, PJSIP, RTP, and VoIP technologies.
• Linux administration (Ubuntu/Debian/CentOS) and Bash scripting.
• Understanding of VPNs, firewalls, NAT traversal, and networking.
• Basic MySQL/MariaDB knowledge for CDR management.
• Experience with Slack, Jira, and Zoom.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication.
