Web Developer

• *Job Purpose:**

• The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing websites and web applications that support Hari Krishna Exports' digital initiatives. The role involves collaborating with UI/UX designers, digital marketers, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and high\-performance digital solutions while ensuring an outstanding user experience.

• *Duties \& Responsibilities**

• *Website Development \& Maintenance :**

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, secure, and high\-performance websites and web applications.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and scalable code following industry best practices.
• Develop responsive websites optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, perform debugging, and ensure smooth website functionality.

• *Website Optimization \& Performance**

• Optimize website speed, performance, accessibility, SEO, and user experience.
• Ensure cross\-browser compatibility, website security, and compliance with modern web standards.
• Integrate third\-party APIs, payment gateways, CMS platforms, plugins, and enterprise applications.
• Perform regular website maintenance, feature enhancements, security updates, and version control.

Collaboration \& Innovation

• Collaborate with UI/UX Designers, Digital Marketing, Branding, and Content teams to deliver engaging digital experiences.
• Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post\-launch support.
• Stay updated with emerging web technologies, AI\-powered development tools, frameworks, and industry best practices.
• Recommend innovative solutions that improve website functionality, user engagement, and business efficiency.

• *What We're Looking For**

• 1–3 years of professional experience in Web Development or Full\-Stack Development.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6\+), Bootstrap, PHP, WordPress, or modern web frameworks.
• Experience developing responsive, mobile\-first, and cross\-browser compatible websites.
• Understanding of REST APIs, database integration, website hosting, DNS management,and web security.
• Basic knowledge of SEO principles, website optimization, and performance enhancement.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem\-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple development projects and deliver high\-quality solutions within deadline.

• *Education \& Qualifications**

• *Essential Qualifications**

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related field.

• *Preferred Qualifications**

• 1–3 years of professional experience in Web Development, Front\-end Development, Back\-end Development, or Full\-Stack Development.
• Certifications in JavaScript, PHP, WordPress, React, Google Analytics, AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Web Development will be an added advantage.

• *Required Skills:**

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, PHP, WordPress, MySQL, and modern web development practices.
• Knowledge of front\-end frameworks such as React.js, Vue.js, or Angular will be an added advantage.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git/GitHub.
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, AJAX, and third\-party API integration.
• Knowledge of website deployment, hosting environments, SSL, domain management, and website security.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and technical SEO best practices.
• Experience using development tools such as Visual Studio Code, Postman, Chrome DevTools, and browser debugging tools.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, UI/UX principles, accessibility standards, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with AI\-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor AI, or similar tools will be an added advantage.
• Excellent problem\-solving, analytical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
