The Workday Benefits Lead is responsible for leading the design, configuration, testing, and support of Workday Benefits solutions. This role partners with HR, Payroll, Integrations, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant, and efficient benefits processes while serving as the subject matter expert for Workday Benefits \*\*Key Responsibilities\*\* \- Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of Workday Benefits. \- Configure and support benefit plans, eligibility rules, life events, and Open Enrollment. \- Gather business requirements and translate them into Workday solutions. \- Lead testing activities, including SIT, UAT, and production deployment support. \- Partner with Payroll, HCM, Compensation, Integrations, and Reporting teams. \- Provide guidance on Workday best practices and process improvements. \- Support compliance requirements and Benefits\-related audits. \- Troubleshoot production issues and support ongoing enhancements. \- Mentor junior consultants and provide functional leadership on projects. \*\*Qualifications\*\* \- 5\+ years of Workday Benefits experience. \- Experience leading Workday Benefits implementations and enhancements. \- Strong knowledge of Open Enrollment, Life Events, Eligibility, and Benefits Administration. \- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. \- Workday Benefits Certification preferred. \*\*Preferred Experience\*\* \- Workday Core HCM \- Payroll \- Compensation \- Time Absence \- Integrations \- Reporting Analytics \*\*Key Competencies\*\* \- Workday Benefits Configuration \- Solution Design \- Requirements Gathering \- Testing Deployment \- Stakeholder Management \- Project Leadership \- Continuous Improvement \*\*Level Recommendation (for Capgemini/Consulting Environment)\*\* \*\*Title:\*\* Workday Benefits Lead / Workday Benefits Functional Lead \*\*Experience:\*\* 8–12\+ years overall HRIS experience; 5\+ years Workday Benefits experience \*\*Certification:\*\* Workday Benefits Certified Preferred \*\*Travel:\*\* Up to 25% (client dependent)
