Level 3 Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Engineer — Job Description Job Summary Seeking an experienced Level 3 engineer to manage, support, and optimize Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop) and Azure Virtual Desktop environments. The role demands excellent communication skills and requires working 5 days a week in the office. Key Responsibilities • Manage and support Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) infrastructures. • Design, deploy, and optimize virtual desktop and application solutions. • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, including performance, connectivity, and security. • Collaborate with IT teams for system integration and process improvements. • Maintain thorough documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures. • Conduct periodic health checks and performance tuning. • Provide Level 3 escalation support for incidents and problems. • Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans. • Keep updated on latest Citrix and AVD technologies and best practices. Requirements • Minimum 10\-12 years’ experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops. • Strong knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop architecture and management. • Proficient with Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking concepts. • Skilled in PowerShell scripting and automation. • Familiar with Azure cloud services like Azure AD, Security, and Monitor. • Solid grasp of security best practices in virtual desktop environments. • Excellent problem\-solving and troubleshooting ability. • Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain technical details clearly. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Must be available to work 5 days a week onsite in the office.
