Job Description
Job Summary
The Zonal Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, expanding the dealer and distributor network, managing key customer relationships, and achieving revenue targets within the assigned zone. The role involves leading a sales team, identifying new business opportunities, supporting channel partners, and ensuring excellent customer service in the fenestration industry (uPVC Windows \& Doors, Aluminium Windows \& Doors, Glass, Hardware, and Façade Solutions).
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned zone.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share.
- Appoint, develop, and manage dealers, distributors, fabricators, and channel partners.
- Generate business through builders, architects, consultants, contractors, developers, and interior designers.
- Build strong relationships with existing customers and identify new business opportunities.
- Lead, coach, and monitor Area Sales Managers, Sales Executives, and Business Development Executives.
- Conduct regular market visits to identify customer requirements and competitor activities.
- Ensure timely follow\-up of enquiries, quotations, negotiations, and order closures.
- Coordinate with production, planning, logistics, and customer support teams for smooth order execution.
- Monitor sales forecasts, pipeline, collections, and outstanding payments.
- Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with customers.
- Organize dealer meets, exhibitions, promotional campaigns, and marketing activities.
- Analyze market trends, pricing, and competitor strategies.
- Prepare sales reports, business reviews, and zone performance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and sales processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- MBA in Marketing is preferred.
Experience
- **8–12 years** of sales experience in the fenestration industry.
- Minimum **3–5 years** in a team handling or managerial role.
- Experience in uPVC/Aluminium Windows \& Doors, Glass, Façade, Architectural Hardware, Building Materials, or related products.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of the fenestration industry and building materials.
