122 - SE/AM - Production Accounting

• *Job Summary** We are looking for a detail\-oriented and analytical Production Accountant to manage production\-related accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and support cost control and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have experience in production accounting and working knowledge of accounting software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, and Xero, along with proficiency in MS Office.

• *Key Responsibilities** Maintain accurate production\-related financial and accounting records.

 Track production costs, including raw materials, labour, overheads, and other manufacturing expenses.

 Monitor production costs, analyse variances, and support cost\-control initiatives.

 Assist with inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and inventory valuation.

 Reconcile general ledger, vendor, and other financial accounts.

 Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation activities as required.

 Prepare or assist with monthly financial reports, cost reports, and management reports.

 Coordinate with production, procurement, inventory, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost allocation.

 Record financial transactions accurately and support month\-end and year\-end closing.

 Maintain audit\-ready documentation and support internal and external audits.

 Follow applicable accounting policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.

 Use accounting software and MS Office tools for accounting, reporting, and data analysis. **Required Skills and Qualifications** 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in production or manufacturing accounting.

 Understanding of production costing, inventory accounting, and cost reconciliation.

 Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, and Xero.

 Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.

 Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

 Strong analytical, numerical, and problem\-solving skills with attention to detail.

 Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.

• *Preferred Qualifications** Semi\-qualified CA or CMA candidates will be an added advantage.

 Experience in manufacturing, production, or cost accounting is preferred.
