Account Associate

• *Location:** Chennai (or as required)
• *Salary Range:** ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on experience)

• *Role Overview**

We are seeking a detail\-oriented and reliable **Accounts Associate** to manage and support the accounting functions of multiple group entities (3–5 companies). The role requires strong hands\-on experience in accounting, statutory compliance, and coordination across business units.

• *Key Responsibilities**
• *Accounting \& Bookkeeping**

• Maintain books of accounts for 3–5 group companies independently
• Pass journal entries, sales, purchase, and expense entries in **Tally Prime**
• Ensure proper ledger scrutiny, verification, and periodic reconciliation

• *Client Quotation \& Billing**

• Prepare and issue **quotations to clients** in coordination with the business/operations team
• Ensure accuracy in pricing, taxes (GST), and commercial terms
• Convert approved quotations into invoices and maintain proper documentation
• Track quotation status and follow up for approvals and conversions
• Pass journal entries, sales, purchase, and expense entries in **Tally Prime**
• Ensure proper ledger scrutiny, verification, and periodic reconciliation

• *Compliance \& Filings**

• Prepare and file **GST returns** (GSTR\-1, GSTR\-3B, etc.)
• Handle **TDS calculations, returns, and reconciliation**
• Assist in statutory compliance and regulatory requirements

• *Receivables \& Payables**

• Manage accounts receivable and payable cycles
• Follow up for collections and track outstanding balances
• Process vendor payments and maintain documentation

• *Banking \& Reconciliation**

• Perform bank reconciliations regularly
• Monitor cash flows and report discrepancies

• *Reporting \& Audit Support**

• Assist in preparation of MIS reports and financial summaries
• Support internal and statutory audits with required data
• Maintain proper documentation for audit and compliance

• *Key Requirements**

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting (B.Com preferred)
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting
• Strong working knowledge of **Tally**, GST, and TDS
• Good command over **MS Excel**
• Ability to handle multiple entities and prioritize tasks
• High attention to detail and accuracy

• *Preferred Skills**

• Experience in handling **group company accounts**
• Basic knowledge of income tax provisions
• Experience in audit support and documentation
