Key Responsibilities
1\. Accounting \& Bookkeeping Maintain day\-to\-day accounting entries in Tally ERP / accounting software. Handle sales, purchase, payment, receipt, and journal entries. Reconcile bank accounts, cash books, and ledger balances regularly. Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.
2\. GST \& Taxation Compliance Prepare and reconcile GST data for GSTR\-1, GSTR\-3B, and other returns. Verify purchase and sales invoices for GST compliance. Coordinate with consultants for GST, \& TDS. Ensure timely payment of statutory dues.
3\. Accounts Payable \& Receivable Manage vendor payments and customer outstanding follow\-ups. Reconcile debtor and creditor accounts periodically. Prepare ageing reports and outstanding statements. Coordinate with branches for pending payments and reconciliations.
4\. Inventory \& Branch Accounting Monitor stock records and coordinate physical stock verification. Pass necessary stock journal and adjustment entries. Handle branch accounting and inter\-branch reconciliations. Ensure proper accounting of inventory transactions.
5\. Banking \& Documentation Handle banking transactions, cheque processing, and payment documentation. Prepare debit notes, credit notes, and account confirmations. Maintain records of agreements, invoices, and statutory documents. Coordinate with banks, auditors, and government departments when required. Required Skills \& Competencies Good knowledge of accounting principles and taxation. Hands\-on experience in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and MS Office. Understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance. Strong analytical and reconciliation skills. Good communication and coordination abilities. Ability to work under deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
