*Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Accountant with strong expertise in Tally, payroll management, and statutory compliance to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of accounting principles, payroll systems, and statutory regulations, and will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate record\-keeping, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
*Key Responsibilities:**
**Accounting \& Bookkeeping:**
Maintain accurate financial records using Tally ERP.
Prepare and manage general ledger entries, journal entries, and bank reconciliation.
Ensure that all financial transactions are recorded correctly and in a timely manner.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
**Payroll Management:**
Process employee salaries, bonuses, and other payroll\-related items.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as income tax, PF, ESI, and other deductions.
Generate payslips and provide necessary documentation for employees.
Manage payroll reports and assist in payroll audits.
**Statutory Compliance:**
Ensure timely filing of tax returns (GST, Income Tax, TDS, etc.).
Prepare and file statutory returns (GST, ESI, PF, PT, etc.).
*Required Qualifications:**
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA or CA (Inter) preferred).
At least 3\-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, payroll, and statutory compliance.
Hands\-on experience with **Tally ERP** and other accounting software.
Strong understanding of **Indian tax laws** (GST, Income Tax, TDS), **Payroll processing**, and **Statutory compliance**.
Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
*Work Experience:**
Previous experience in accounting roles, particularly in **payroll processing** and **statutory compliance**.
Hands\-on experience working with **Tally ERP** for day\-to\-day accounting activities.
Knowledge and experience with **tax returns** (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.) and other compliance\-related work.
