Accountant

We are looking for an experienced and detail\-oriented **Accountant** with 2 to 5 years of core accounting experience. The ideal candidate will manage day\-to\-day financial transactions, handle statutory compliances (GST, TDS), and maintain error\-free books of accounts. **Experience in the Real Estate or Construction industry will be highly preferred.**

• *Key Responsibilities**

• **Core Accounting \& Tally Operations:**
• Manage day\-to\-day accounting entries, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments in **Tally Prime / Tally ERP 9**.
• Maintain and update ledgers, cash flow, and bank reconciliation statements (BRS) regularly.
• **Statutory Compliance \& Taxation (GST \& TDS):**
• Practical handling of **GST compliances**, including preparing data for GSTR\-1, GSTR\-3B, and performing GST input tax credit (ITC) reconciliation.
• Calculation and timely deduction of **TDS** on vendor payments, processing TDS challans, and assisting in quarterly TDS return filings.
• **Real Estate Specific Operations (Added Advantage):**
• Handle project\-wise accounting, contractor billing, and material supplier invoice verification.
• Monitor receivable aging reports and follow up on customer/flat\-buyer outstanding payments.
• Ensure compliance with **RERA** bank account regulations (maintaining the 70:30 ratio updates) if required.
• **Payroll \& Banking:**
• Assist in processing monthly payroll, including deductions for PF, ESIC, and Professional Tax (PT).
• Coordinate with banks for day\-to\-day banking operations, loans, or project funding documentations.
• **Reporting \& Auditing:**
• Prepare monthly Profit \& Loss (P\&L) statements, Balance Sheet drafts, and budgetary expense reports.
• Coordinate with the Statutory Auditor / Chartered Accountant (CA) for finalization of accounts and tax audits.

• *Qualifications \& Skills Required**

• **Education:** B.Com, M.Com, or MBA in Finance / Accounts.
• **Technical Skills:** Advanced knowledge of **Tally Prime** and **MS Excel** (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
• **Industry Experience:** 2–5 years in core accounting. **Prior experience working with a Real Estate Developer or Construction firm is a major plus.**
• **Soft Skills:** Strong analytical skills, high accuracy in data entry, and good communication skills to coordinate with vendors, clients, and site teams.

Pay: ₹25,000\.00 \- ₹35,000\.00 per month
