- *Accountant – Solar EPC Company** **SOLAR CONNECT (SURYOVA ENERGYGRID 24BY7 PRIVATE LIMITED)**

SOLAR CONNECT is an ISO\-certified Solar EPC company headquartered in Trivandrum, empanelled with MNRE, registered with KSEBL and ANERT, and a PM Surya Ghar registered vendor. With 2,000\+ solar installations across South India, we operate across residential, commercial, and industrial segments. We run all finance and operations on **ERPNext ERP**.
We are looking for a detail\-oriented, hands\-on Accountant to manage day\-to\-day accounting, statutory compliance, and financial reporting for our Trivandrum headquarters. You will work directly with the Managing Partner and be the sole owner of all finance operations for the company.
- *Day\-to\-Day Accounting**
- Maintain books of accounts in ERPNext (journal entries, ledger management, bank reconciliation)
- Process accounts payable and receivable — vendor payments, customer invoicing, follow\-up on collections
- Manage petty cash, expense claims, and advance settlements
- Reconcile inter\-company transactions across two payroll entities
- *GST \& Statutory Compliance**
- Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR\-1, GSTR\-3B, GSTR\-9\)
- Maintain input tax credit (ITC) records and reconcile with GSTR\-2B
- Handle TDS deductions, challans, and quarterly returns (24Q, 26Q)
- Coordinate with CA/auditors for income tax filings and assessments
- Process monthly salary disbursements for 25\+ staff across two entities
- Maintain PF, ESI, and PT compliance and file returns
- Validate attendance, overtime, and leave deductions (coordinating with HR)
- Handle full \& final settlements
- Track project\-wise costs vs. estimates for solar EPC projects
- Maintain vendor purchase orders, GRNs, and invoice matching in ERPNext
- Monitor work\-in\-progress (WIP) accounts for ongoing installations
- Prepare project profitability summaries for management review
- Prepare monthly P\&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
- Generate MIS reports for the Managing Partner — collections, payables aging, project margins
- Support annual audit preparation and statutory filings
- *What We're Looking For**
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent; CA Final pursuing is a plus
- **3–6 years** of accounting experience, preferably in a construction, EPC, or project\-based company
- **Proficiency in ERPNext or Tally** (ERPNext strongly preferred — hands\-on experience is a significant advantage)
- Strong working knowledge of **GST, TDS, PF/ESI compliance** in Kerala
- Familiarity with **multi\-entity accounting** and inter\-company reconciliation
- Proficiency in **MS Excel / Google Sheets** for reporting and reconciliation
- Excellent attention to detail, deadline\-driven, and comfortable working independently
- Good written and spoken English and Malayalam
- Prior experience in a solar, renewable energy, or infrastructure EPC company
- Exposure to **project cost tracking** or WIP accounting
- Experience filing returns through **GST portal, TRACES, EPF Unified Portal**
- Competitive CTC based on experience
