The Accounts Assistant will provide crucial support to the Finance Head in managing the company's financial operations. Key duties involve assisting with the preparation and monitoring of financial budgets, processing accounts payable and receivable transactions, and maintaining the general ledger. The role includes supporting fixed asset tracking and reconciliation, aiding in cash-flow forecasting, and ensuring timely receipt of monthly stock statements from relevant departments. Additionally, the assistant will contribute to product and service cost analysis, support financial planning and analytical tasks, and propose enhancements to internal controls and processes. Compliance responsibilities encompass assisting with payroll processing, salary disbursement, tax deductions, and the filing of various statutory returns including EPF, ESI, TDS, income tax, GST, and professional tax.
