As an Accounts Executive in Mall Operations, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, transactions, and reports related to the financial aspects of mall operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial data, timely payments, and adherence to financial policies. This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
- *Financial Recordkeeping:**Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date financial records of all transactions, including sales, expenses, rents, and other related activities.
Ensure all financial data is properly categorized, documented, and archived for easy retrieval.
- *Accounts Payable and Receivable:**Process invoices, verify supporting documents, and prepare payment vouchers for vendors and service providers.
Monitor tenant rent payments, track outstanding balances, and send reminders as needed.
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable statements to resolve discrepancies.
- *Bank Reconciliation:**Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of transactions and identify any discrepancies.
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to banking transactions.
- *Financial Reporting:**Prepare periodic financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Generate customized reports as required by management to provide insights into financial performance.
- *Budget Monitoring:**Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the mall's budget by tracking actual expenses against budgeted amounts.
Provide insights into budget variances and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- *Tax Compliance:**Ensure accurate calculation and timely submission of various taxes, such as sales tax, property tax, and other applicable taxes.
Collaborate with external tax advisors to stay updated on tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- *Vendor Relations:**Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to address any financial inquiries, resolve payment issues, and maintain positive relationships.
- *Internal Controls:**Uphold internal control procedures to safeguard financial transactions and prevent fraud or errors.
Propose improvements to internal processes to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy.
- *Auditing Support:**Assist in internal and external audits by providing accurate financial data, documentation, and explanations as needed.
- *Qualifications and Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 1year experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the retail or mall operations sector.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
