About JBN Modular

JBN Modular is an interior and furniture brand specialising in custom\-designed modular kitchens, wardrobes, and complete residential and commercial interior solutions. We're growing, and we're looking for a motivated accounts intern to join our finance team and learn how accounts run in a fast\-moving interiors business.

The Role

You'll support our accounts team with day\-to\-day bookkeeping and documentation, gaining hands\-on experience with real business accounting under the guidance of experienced team members.

Responsibilities

• Enter sales, purchase, receipt and payment entries in the accounting software (Tally or similar)
• Prepare and track invoices, quotations and payment follow\-ups
• Help with bank reconciliation and petty cash records
• Maintain vendor and customer records and ledgers
• Assist with GST data preparation and filing support
• Organise and file bills, vouchers and accounting documents (physical and digital)
• Prepare simple reports and statements in Excel
• Support the accounts team with any other tasks assigned

Requirements

• Pursuing or completed B.Com, M.Com, BBA, or a CMA / CA / CS foundation or intermediate level
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Working knowledge of MS Excel
• Familiarity with Tally is an advantage
• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Good communication skills in Malayalam and English
