The Role

You'll lead our accounts function, with a focus on B2B accounting, while also coordinating day\-to\-day office functions and guiding the accounts team. This is a hands\-on senior role for someone who can manage both the numbers and the people.

Responsibilities

• Manage day\-to\-day accounting for B2B customers and vendors, including invoicing, receivables, payables and ledger maintenance
• Follow up on outstanding payments and manage credit and collections
• Maintain books of accounts in Zoho Books or similar accounting software
• Prepare and file GST returns and ensure statutory compliance
• Handle bank reconciliation, payment processing and cash flow tracking
• Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS and management reports
• Coordinate with auditors and consultants for audits and tax filings
• Supervise and guide junior accounts staff, reviewing their work and ensuring deadlines are met
• Coordinate overall office functions, including administration, documentation, record keeping, and coordination with sales, purchase and stores teams

Requirements

• B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent degree in Accounting or Finance (CMA / CA Inter is an advantage)
• 8–10 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a trading, wholesale or distribution business
• Strong experience handling B2B accounts
• Working knowledge of Zoho Books or Zoho Finance is preferred (Tally or similar also considered)
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS and statutory compliance
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Proven people management and leadership skills
• Good accounting and administrative skills, with experience coordinating overall office functions
• Ability to work independently and take ownership
