Job Description

  • *Roles \& Responsibilities**
  • Review, verify, and approve all General Ledger (GL) postings in Tally to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Act as the checker for accounting entries and maintain strong internal financial controls.
  • Ensure proper ledger maintenance and monitor ledger hygiene across all accounting heads.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
  • Perform and oversee bank, vendor, customer, inter\-company, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve accounting discrepancies and unreconciled items on a timely basis.
  • Support preparation of monthly Profit \& Loss statements, Balance Sheet schedules, cash flow reports, and other financial reports.
  • Generate periodic MIS reports and dashboards for management review.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify variances, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
  • Coordinate with treasury, operations, compliance, and finance teams to ensure accurate accounting and reporting.
  • Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, statutory regulations, and audit requirements.
  • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and strengthening of financial controls.
  • *Requirements**
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field. CA, CMA, or equivalent qualification preferred but not mandatory.
  • 2\+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliations, preferably in NBFC, BFSI, or financial services industry.
  • Mandatory: Excellent hands\-on expertise in Tally (advanced level).
  • Strong understanding of General Ledger accounting, financial statements, and accounting principles.
  • Proven experience in month\-end and year\-end closures.
  • Strong reconciliation skills across bank accounts, vendors, customers, and balance sheet schedules.
  • Experience in MIS reporting, financial analysis, and management reporting.
  • Good understanding of internal controls, audit processes, and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast\-paced environment and meet strict reporting deadlines.
  • *Preferred Profile**
  • Experience in NBFC, lending, fintech, or financial services organizations.
  • Exposure to treasury accounting, loan accounting, and regulatory reporting.
  • CA\-qualified candidates preferred; however, strong non\-CA candidates with exceptional Tally and accounting expertise will also be considered.

Pay: ₹30,000\.00 \- ₹35,000\.00 per month
