Admission Counsellor

Job description

We are looking for a proactive and empathetic Admission Counsellor who will act as a bridge between parents seeking school admissions and school principals / admission teams. The role involves counselling parents, understanding student requirements, and coordinating meetings with schools to ensure a smooth admission journey.

Key Responsibilities

Counsel parents regarding school admissions, curriculum options, and admission processes

Understand the child’s academic background, preferences, and requirements

Coordinate and fix meetings between parents and school principals/admission heads

Maintain regular communication with schools regarding admission availability and timelines

Follow up with parents and schools to ensure admission closure

Maintain accurate records of leads, interactions, and meetings in CRM / internal systems

Provide clear guidance to parents throughout the admission process

Build strong professional relationships with school representatives

Ensure a positive and trustworthy experience for parents and schools

Desired Skills \& Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to confidently speak with parents and school leadership

Experience in admission counselling, education sales, or academic consulting is an advantage

Good listening skills and a problem\-solving mindset

Organized, detail\-oriented, and able to manage multiple cases

Comfortable with follow\-ups and relationship management

Basic computer skills (CRM, Excel, email, calling tools)

Preferred Background

Graduate in any discipline (Education background is a plus)

Experience working with schools, education portals, or admission services preferred
