• *Role Purpose**

The **Manager / Senior Manager \- SCM** is responsible for driving end\-to\-end supply chain operations, including procurement, planning, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and supplier management. The role ensures seamless material availability, optimized inventory levels, efficient logistics execution, and alignment of supply chain activities with business, customer, and operational requirements. The incumbent will collaborate closely with cross\-functional teams to improve responsiveness, cost efficiency, delivery performance, and overall supply chain effectiveness.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• *1\. Supply Chain Planning \& Execution**

• Drive end\-to\-end supply chain planning to support production and customer requirements.
• Ensure uninterrupted material availability through effective planning and procurement coordination.
• Monitor supply\-demand alignment and initiate corrective actions when required.
• Collaborate with production and program teams for capacity and inventory planning.
• Drive S\&OP and integrated business planning processes.

• *2\. Procurement \& Supplier Management**

• Manage supplier performance related to quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness.
• Support sourcing initiatives, vendor development, and supplier negotiations.
• Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, consumables, and services.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives through strategic sourcing and value engineering.

• *3\. Inventory Management**

• Maintain optimal inventory levels by balancing customer demand and business requirements.
• Monitor inventory health, aging stock, excess inventory, and slow\-moving materials.
• Ensure cycle counting, physical verification, and inventory accuracy.
• Drive inventory reduction and working capital optimization initiatives.

• *4\. Logistics \& Warehouse Coordination**

• Oversee inbound and outbound material movement to support business operations.
• Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely dispatches and deliveries.
• Monitor transportation performance and logistics costs.
• Support warehouse operations, material flow optimization, and inventory control.

• *5\. Operational Excellence**

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement, planning, logistics, and warehouse functions.
• Develop supply chain dashboards and performance metrics.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve service levels.
• Support digital transformation and automation initiatives within SCM.

• *6\. Compliance \& Governance**

• Ensure compliance with SEZ, EXIM, customs, and statutory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies and supply chain governance standards.

• *7\. Team Leadership**

• Lead, mentor, and develop SCM team members.
• Establish performance objectives and review team effectiveness.

• *Qualifications \& Experience**

• *Education**

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related discipline.
• MBA in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or International Business preferred.

• *Experience:**

• *Manager**: 8\-12 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning, Logistics, or Manufacturing Operations.

• *Senior Manager**: 12\-15 years of experience in end\-to\-end Supply Chain Management, preferably within aerospace, engineering, automotive, or manufacturing industries.
