Area Manager- Gold and LAP

Core Responsibilities

• **Portfolio Growth \& Sales:** Driving disbursement targets for both Gold Loans and LAP across all branches in the assigned territory.
• **Branch Operations \& Compliance:** Monitoring daily branch activities to ensure strict adherence to RBI guidelines, KYC norms, and internal audit policies.
• **Risk \& Asset Quality Management:** Implementing stringent valuation processes for gold and legal/technical evaluations for property to prevent frauds and bad loans.
• **Collections \& NPA Management:** Leading recovery efforts and managing early delinquency (30\-60\-90 days past due) to keep the Non\-Performing Asset (NPA) levels at a minimum.
• **Team Leadership:** Recruiting, training, and mentoring Branch Managers (BMs), Relationship Officers, and Gold Appraisers.

Key Skills Required

• **Dual\-Product Expertise:** Understanding the fast\-paced, retail nature of Gold Loans alongside the complex, long\-cycle credit underwriting required for LAP.
• **Risk Awareness:** Ability to identify structural credit risks in property documents and spot spurious gold or valuation frauds.
• **Local Market Knowledge:** Deep understanding of the local geography, competitor dynamics, and regional customer demographics.
• **Data Analytics:** Proficiency in tracking daily branch dashboards, portfolio concentration metrics, and collection efficiency trends.
• Need to manage Multiple location Branches. At least 8\-10 branches handled experiences need.
