Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and result\-oriented **Area Sales Manager (ASM)** to drive sales and business development for our solar energy projects in the Kollam region. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in field sales, customer relationship management, and project coordination within the renewable energy or related industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for residential, commercial, and industrial solar projects.
• Generate leads through direct field sales, networking, referrals, and channel partners.
• Meet prospective customers, understand their energy requirements, and present suitable solar solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales.
• Coordinate with the engineering and project execution teams to ensure smooth project implementation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, and business partners.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support business growth.
• Maintain accurate sales records and submit regular sales reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA in Marketing is an added advantage).
• Minimum **3–5 years of experience** in sales, preferably in the solar, electrical, renewable energy, construction, or infrastructure sector.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools.
• Valid two\-wheeler driving licence and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
