Job Description – Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Role Summary
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for leading and managing the sales operations across the assigned territory, driving revenue growth, expanding the dealer and distributor network, and ensuring the achievement of business objectives. The ASM will oversee and guide Territory Sales Managers and Sales Officers, monitor market performance, develop sales strategies, and strengthen Amulya Mica's presence across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Territory Sales Managers and Sales Officers.
- Drive achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop and execute territory expansion and market penetration strategies.
- Monitor sales performance and productivity of TSMs and Sales Officers.
- Appoint and develop distributors, dealers, and key channel partners.
- Build strong relationships with major dealers, distributors, architects, contractors, and institutional customers.
- Review market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
- Conduct regular field visits and joint customer meetings with the sales team.
- Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy receivables across the territory.
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure product availability and efficient order fulfilment.
- Review sales reports, forecasts, and business plans and provide regular updates to management.
- Ensure implementation of company policies, pricing strategies, and sales processes.
Qualifications \& Experience
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA in Sales \& Marketing preferred.
- 6–10 years of experience in sales, preferably in laminates, mica, plywood, building materials, decorative products, or related industries.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience managing a sales team.

Key Objective

Pay: ₹40,000\.00 \- ₹50,000\.00 per month
